151st Combat Engineering Battalion
60th Reunion
 
On August the men of the 151st celebrated 60 years since the beginning of the Korean War. This men worked over 200 miles across enemy lines to build the bridge used in rescuing trapped Marines during the "Battle of Chosin Reservoir". The Air Force would do strafing run on each side the keep the Chinese and North Korean armies at bay.
Angie Williams from Senator Lowell Barron's office stopped by to offer thanks to the men of the 151st for they dedication and sacrifice for this great county.
Willard Crabtree recounted the times the Battalion had during and after the war.
The menu included potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, BBQ baby back ribs, and grilled chicken, and to top it off homemade ICE CREAM.
